If I were to grow an autoflowering strain with my regular seeds would there be anyway that it could possibly be done flowering under the same light before I switch the normal plants to 12/12? I read that some autos take as short as 50 days to flower so I'm curious. I have autosomango and auto sweet tooth. The reason I am asking is because I killed my other fem seeds so i had to plant normals but there's absolutely no justification for the electric bill if I don't get any female plants..just a curious new grower.

First it will not happen in any 50-55 days. Been there already. Yes they can grow together. Don't give in to temptation to put the autos under 12/12. They will flower but yield sucks if you do.
Now, why do autos when you can plant any strain under 12/12 from seed and do basically the same thing?

If you have 2 seperate growing areas put the autos with your vegetative plants.

Sounds like the autos were his back up seeds in-case of a fail.

i grew autos with my others no problem, the autos i have are LA Diva and Critical JACK , both average 60 days seed to harvest. i vegged for 6 weeks under 24/7 lighting withh all of em and swithced to 12/12 with no ill effect on my autos cause they were allredy half way through flower by the time i switched, just waiting on trichs to amber and harvest them girls.
Excellent question - in fact there is a drawback to having autos and non-autos veg together. You hinted at it when you mentioned flowering
times. And yes, there are a number of fast-growing autos that finish in less than 60 days. I've noticed that when the autos start to flower in the veg room it
makes some of the other gals start to flower early. I don't know why but I've seen it more than once. I'm an old guy at home checking my rooms 10 times a day.
So I notice and note stuff like that.
Go ahead and grow out your un-feminized beans. Mature males are nearly as potent as the females for most types. Good pot comes from good moms and dads.
