Grow cabinet question?

Well I was thinking if I made a grow cabinet that would fit space for 4 plants at the top in veg and 4 at the bottom in flowering, and instead of having a piece of wood dividing them I could put glass there, would this mean that the light from the top will help the bottom grow better and if I were to put Mylar all over it the light from the bottom will also reflect, would this be a good idea?

Just a random thought I gathered the over day

your not gonna wnt any light getting into the flower side so that wouldnt work unless you block the light during the night cycle but still not much light will get to the bottom so you would need more light down there

nahhh ..

two big problems springs to mind..

one is the light from the Veg room, dont want that in your flowering room, at all !

two, is the light distance, even big HPS light don't penetrate more then 2-3 feet, a 600W 3 feet away through a glass shelf will give you next to nothing, sept stretching plants ..

back to the drawing board, the idea with two rooms is good and a cheap T5 fixture can easily grow nice Veg plants to have ready for flowering ..
