Grow room design - 8 x 8" vented hood / reflector debacle

ok so i have 8 x 1000 watt MH/HPS switchable ballasts, running off a HPLC-8T 8 light controller with timer, and im now in the market for some hoods. if narrowed it down to a few, and wanted some opinions on dimensions and air flow and light footprint.

ok so the three hoods im debating are :

Dominator XXXL - http://growgreenmi.com/sunlight-supply-dominator-xxxl-8in-air-cooled-reflector - $155 each
Hydrofarm Raptor - http://growgreenmi.com/grow-lights/light-reflectors/8-raptor-reflector - $175 each
Magnum OCHO- http://growgreenmi.com/grow-lights/light-reflectors/magnum-xxxl-8-inch-air-cooled-8-plt -$175

looking for highest air flow (cfm) for heat as im running 8 of these, best floor foot pattern and possibly penetration, maybe personal experience and not just "by the numbers" as there is a site that lists PAR of two of these reflectors, but also concerned with the unit height as im in a basement and CFM and quality of the mogul base sockets as well. ive had some shitty hoods that the sockets bent down and deformed over time, looking for some quality this time hence the personal experience.

anyone use the hot spot diffuser ???
http://growgreenmi.com/1000-hps-equalizer-hot-spot-diffuser ???

oh, and some suggestions on fans and design of the flow through the lights. im using a 1500 CFM charcoal can by can filters and i have two large exterior vents to outside, and a third small (laundry vent size 4"?)

i went with the magnum ochos, i liked the extra 8" tube room @ the ends, and it has a little more square pattern. also the reflector seemed to point more downwards then the raptor, as it seemed to spread out a little more, dont know if thats good or bad, but hey.
