I found these cool periscopes that could be painted flat black inside and used to stop light leaks through your intake or exhaust ports.

They come in different lengths and you can flip the tubes that slide together so as to orient the ports so they are both on the same side or opposite sides.

Pretty cool product, beats a cardboard box.

I’ve come up with some interesting DIY projects for blocking light from intake ports and, surprisingly, all it took in the end was a louvred vent cap with some black pantyhose stretched over it. It looks so clean, too.
