No, I wouldn't. This isn't setup for handling ventilation very well if at all! Check out BGHydro , a few dollars more but way better. There are even better ones so poke around and compare. If these were available 12 years ago when I built my room I would have probably used these instead. The decision should be based on what you are planning on doing - lights, # plants, ventilation, soil/hydro - etc. Good luck.
