Grow with reptile light?

so im trying to grow again, hoping this time it is a bit for "fruitfull" this time. I got no mooney, so that is a problem for me. I got a light that i used to use for my chameleon, she needs sunlight to live properally (she is by the window now:hump:). The light i have puts out UVB wavelengths, and it is supposed to simulate natural light (give a wide spectrum) does anyone have experience with growing with this light or something simular? It is called "Repti Glo 5.0" i have a link to the webpage that gives the specs (Exo Terra - Products: Linear Bulbs). It puts out the green spectrum (as well as others) for plant growth, but is it enough. Im only growing the one baby, i dont really got any money, so i hope it will work.

... no, the light won't grow you mj

if you have no money, cfls are the way to go (the pigtail looking lights)

maybe keep it around for the added uvb light (its supposed to help increase trich production)... but thats about all its good for

oh, and green light isn't good for growing
in fact, its been suggested to have a green lightbulb in the grow room to use during lights off if you need to go in there during that time....

best of luck
