Attempting to grow auto flowering plants. Should I be vegging on a 250w hps ? I've currently got a 400w and I can't get the temp lower than 34-35c!! I've got 4 fans in there! Do I need more?! I can't afford a light cooling system!

Autos don't veg - they go straight from seedling to flowering. Your 400W bulb is probably a MH and that's why it runs so hot. Jam your plants as close to the light by using the hand test. Place your hand over the part of the plant closest to the light. If your hand feels warm the plant would also be too warm. Set your timer for either 20/4 or 24/0 and wait. Autos will go ahead and flower no matter what the light schedule, so you need to use a light schedule that most supports autos, the more light the better. BigSteve.
