Not in my opinion bro,you dont want to be using lower grade equipment,thats just silly.
if your set ups better,and he doesnt want the gear,just tell him your thinking of stripping it for parts,i mean what parts you gonna use exactly?
if hes got a problem with it,and your not going to set up a second grow with that gear,then well,pointless really

well i would most def use his 3 cfls he gave me. but the bubble bucket is way smaller than my others. my air pump makes his look like a piece of shit. but i could use a new water pump as well.......and now that i think about it. its my house, if i get busted he doesnt go down with me, f that.
