Growing in a MAJOR CITY - in an APARTMENT complex

Possible to grow 50-100 plants with NO ONE knowing? How likely is this?

Major city like manhattan. In a large apartment complex where every apartment is next to each other.

Easy as long as the landlord/maintenance man won't be stopping by.

That being said, it's pretty unlikely that'll happen, so I'd say rent out a small factory space in Brooklyn or Queens and do it there.

Just my $.02.

Well, my friend, it all depends. 50-100 plants is A LOT for an apartment, lol. If you have the funds, I suppose you could dedicate a room to it. If you have but one bedroom, dedicate it to growing. Turn it into a grow box! Have good filtration, and use LED lights--the expensive ones do work! My five that I have in my room/closet is more than enough (unfortunately).

The actual act of growing wouldn't be the issue; having lived in numerous "large" apartment buildings, your landlord's in at least once or twice a month to do random shit - therein lies the problem.

guy next door to me got busted for growing 88 plants. I live in a semi-detached on a leafy lane. He stank the whole street out, some days if the wind was right you could smell it from 100's of yards away.

Needless to say the cops 'got wind' of his antics and busted him. Quite an exciting day that was.

I dunno what solutions he had in place to combat the smell, I would presume that he had carbon filters and was extracting through a chimney. But if your considering growing in an apartment block I would 1st look at extraction. Cos using a window is probably not going to be a good idea!

I WOuldnt put that amount of plant because its gonna prob smell even with right stuff. If you can afford spending couple K$ on ure room then sure. but i'd go with 25-30 instead.

Storage space is a bad idea, they'll want a copy drivers license, credit and who know what else in order to rent you a space. There are trailer parks out in long island that might work for you, but you'd probably get ratted out or robbed once the odor seeps through those tin boxes! You can always grow in the projects, no one will say a thing!!! And if they did, the police wouldn't come there anyway!!!

Ozone genertor. How big for your plants. Remember no guests and no women no matter what. Are you ready for that. All girls talk. My gf explained it to me. "but I did a lot of coke and she is cool!, I had to tell her!". Also If you got the right style I dont see a prob at all. I mean some ebb tables and a sog are no big deal. I presume eveyone is thinking of big plants. Lol, remember how heavy a res can be. DOnbt wabt to drop to the lower level. Up high, less smell also, besides the oxone, and no onbe to walk by. You guys seen those apts they have in cities like seattle? Windows are foot level for the bottom floor. Lol, funny shit.

Did any tenants ever CHANGE their locks? What happened if they did? Would you get super suspicious?

If a tenant changes a lock without the building's and/or super's permission, the super will bust their door down in an emergency to get in.

If it's not an emergency, he'll have a locksmith out there (if he's not one himself) within an hour, and you'll be responsible for all the charges (both monetary and the numerous felony counts that would arise).

Long story short, you can't change the locks.

could be either one. most likely a bit more ghetto for more space.

figured could hide the smell with charcoal. dunno if it could conceal 50-100 plants right next to hundreds of people.
