Growing in a Pot on the Porch

I've got about 7 plants all in 1 pot, on the porch, about maybe 5 inches high now. Did nothing to the soil, it's just some soil I bought from walmart. The houseplant that was in it died so I just threw in a few seeds about 2 weeks ago, and happen to look out on the porch today and BAM!, there they were. I decided to go online digging for information on what next. Needless to say how much stuff I found. They growing their butts off but according to what I've been reading, they're probably crap. I'm in Florida so I figure we get around 10 good hours of daylight. Now a question I have is, let's just say I actually did all the stuff with the soil & nutrients, etc., and one of these babies might be the "ultimate bomb", should I treat the plant as an outdoor or indoor plant.

7 plants in one pot? the roots are gonna get crowded, you should at least transplant 2 or 3 in seperate pots and hope for the best, with 10 hrs of daylight they'll go into flower.

If you're gonna make a go of it... you will need to separate those babies and SOON... roots can grow into tangles fast.

I've seen some bomb smoke come from "bag seed"

And, with only 10 hours of daylight, they will go straight into bloom... with that being said, if that is what you're after than that is ok... If you really wanna make a go of it you need to find some way to get them atleast 16 hours of light so they can veg for awhile.

with more then 1 plant in a pot, your plants are going to be fighting over root growth and space. With seven plants in one pot. I'd imagine one or two plants may be total crap.

I have grow 3 plants in 5 gallon pail. One plant never flowered. One plant produced 12gs and the last plant grew just under 50gs.

IMHO No good came from growing more then one plant in a single pot.

But different stains might act differently. I grew 3 auto flowers in one pot for kicks and giggles. Kinda a waste...

Take a pair of sharp scissors and cut away all but the strongest one. Go back to Wal-Mart and pick out a cheap fertilizer and large container.

When Looking at the fertilizers find the NPK numbers. Ideally find something with the same number number across the board (example npk: 4-4-4). Can't mess up this way. Organic if you can. Can't over apply as easily.

For a container go to the closet and garage section and use a plastic tub. 20 gallon would serve you well for your first grow. Later you can use kiddie pools which are 100 gallons.

Use cheap potting use. Kellogg and Super Soil are both good. Local brands are good too. Should only cost about $5 a bag. If it's more, keep looking for a better deal. You can get away with cheap in this case because you make up for it with fertilizer and a large container and natural sunshine.

Ideally plant should be on the south side of your property and get morning sun. Rain and tap water is fine when growing this way. Don't worry about ph if you use organic fertilizer and soil. For pest control use soapy water and shake plants every morning.

They are ready to harvest when buds have swollen and it just looks right. A 10-20x loupe helps to see trichromes. You want them cloudy. Very little clear and very little amber.
