Rite now im living in a 1/2 double house and i got house's pretty much all around me. My question is what do you grower's who live in the city do to kill the smell? i tryed several "carbon" type filter setups but none seem to work to well for me. Rite now i have everything in the basement but i do have a empty attic would it be better to move the grow setup higher to kill the smell? Becuase with my setup in the basement the smell seem's to creep its way up into my living room / dining room. Any help would be great.

If you move your set up to the attic the scent has no choice but to flow out and up. Which is way above every ones nose.

I live on the second floor of an apartment complex and no passers by can smell what I smell. In fact after harvest I hang them in my attic to dry and the scent escapes out the vents and straight to the stars.

Your perfect in the basement, all you need to do is to vent the exhaust into your chimney from the basement,if you only have a small room with few plants you can probabally get by without a filter,if you have a large room chocked full -o- goodies then attach a charcoal filter to the intake of your exhaust going to the chimney.

You can take a hammer & chisel to gently remove enough brick to insert the exhaust pipe, then fill around the hole with "Great Stuff" spray foam insulation in a can.
