If you think the Bills in the House, passed by the Senate last week, will preserve your personal MM right to grow.

You are all deluded!

I fought this in hearings at the Senate level months ago! My shop got raided all my operations shut down and agreements from local DA's ignored! Schutte came after me because I testified against these bills. I TOLD THE TRUTH and it got me busted!

There will be NO, let me repeat this again. There will be NO legal growing outside of the big (can you say prairie farms?) 500 to 1500 plant growers.
ALL MM patients WILL have to go to APPROVED MM disp.! Your not getting the writing on the wall! IF the police come to your house or catch you in possession - any time any where, with MM that does NOT have a way to be tracked back to the LEGAL source! YOUR BUSTED! That legal source MUST BE A STATE LICENSED GROWING operation! HOME GROWING will have NO way to be licensed or traceable back to your exact grow! IN EFFECT - ALL PERSONAL GROWING WILL BE ILLEGAL! You won't have that "seed to sale" REQUIRED PROOF of ORIGIN! You WILL be busted as having unregistered and therefor illegal weed!

They may have changed some words BUT, the meaning as it was INTENDED back when it was written. IS still the same!

MI is about to go NO PERSONAL GROWING - even if they don't "officially" change the law to say so!

I don't give a SHIT what the writer of that non-informative piece of newsless trash said.....ALL dispensaries are ILLEGAL under STATE LAW! I should know! I WAS BUSTED FOR MINE and HAD THE "OFFICIAL OK" to operate under what Schutte him self said as to local enforcement choosing to or not! I was told directly, that the word to raid me came directly from Bill Schutte himself!
It was passed to a multi county drug enforcement team and not "local" authorities whom I had the blessing from! I was not the only place targeted for owners/operators testifying!

REMEMBER THE DETAILS ARE NO NON RECORDED POSSESSION! (They ain't "recording" your home med grow - so your a no-no!) This will open the door for you to loose your kids and home! They have made the new possession laws FELONY'S !!!! HUGE fines and mandatory jail times (for second offence and above)!

Today was the House vote - It got cancelled as some Rep died on his motorcycle.....Sad for him - good for us,,,,,,CALL/EMAIL YOUR HOUSE REP and say VOTE NO!

This bill is slated to pass by what I'm told by insiders - SO START CALLING/EMAILING THE GOV. AND TELL HIM TO NOT SIGN IT!

But it aslo says you you have to employee caregiver with two years experience so if that's the case then how will those caregivers get experience? I believe it will be hard for them to abolish the right we currently have and hope that I am right

I don't think dispensaries were ever really legal in michigan ever.

Ya know the governor is about to be voted out the next election he has. and if they really do start running around busting the hundreds of thousands of legal medical patients the house and senate will follow. SO it will be a circle jerk it that happens and new laws will take their place in due time.

I for one highly doubt they will go around and arrest every single medical patient in michigan not buying weed from the government and growing their own.

I'll tell you what I do see happening many dispensaries will be closed and they will control which ones are allowed.

There were too many people taking advantage of the dispensaries and too many of them not obeying the laws or guidelines for dispensaries.

I agree....the disp were never legal and anyone running one was stupid for doing so.

The mmma has limits, yea they suck but if you stayed in those limits chances are you will stay out of the courts

They tried the same shit in Ohio in 2015 and the people voted it out like the bullshit monopoly it was. Nick Lachey from one of those huge boybands was a big investor pushing for the same laws so he could be in ownership of the 3 medical farms that were scheduled to supply the entire state and put an end to personal grows if the law passed. Luckily for Ohio, the people saw through the BS and voted against it.

Much of the money made from the new tax's WILL GO directly TO law enforcement to hire more personnel that will be directly working on busting illegal grows and illegal possession! This was reported on MLIVE search it!

Look, it was Schutte who was the LEADING anti MM voice from DAY ONE of the proposed voting on a MM law in the first place.
He campaigned for State AG and promised to take the MM that was "flooding" the streets off the market and make Michigan "safe" for our children again!

When the Flint water crisis broke. he ignored the whole thing till it was basically decided he was running for GOV. in 2 more years! Now he's in the news for charging anyone he see's fit to for the "responsibility"! He's attempted to make it harder for many to vote (most of whom would be the opposition). Anti women, gays, and of course - all marijuana!

Like I said, IF these new laws pass? No growing and possession of "un-registered" MM is a felony to make it that way!

Can you point to where in any of the laws going forward it says anything like what you are implying

The real sad part is......WE DON'T GET TO VOTE ON IT! The Senate and the House are simply changing the law! They tabled the bills till after the LEGALIZE MI folks handed in their petitions. WAIT! says the state, "You have signatures that are older then allowed by law." The idiots HAD the right amount of signatures in time. They got stoned and greedy saying that wanted dbl the amount to prove that the proposal should go on the Nov. ballot! They didn't know that the state changed the rules while they collected the signatures, to a shorter time limit to turn them in!

This is how our state operates! We have what is listed nationally as one of the most corrupt state government systems in the US!

The stupid part is that many of the people who vote - don't get it!

“The endgame of this legislation with all of its societal ills is the full legalization of marijuana in our state,” he said. “This isn’t the legacy that I want to leave for the citizens of Michigan.”

If this guy is mad about it then something must be in there that helps the people as a whole in the state of michigan.

So they put the Kabash on the basically underground scene at the disp...they said that was coming months ago.

Read very, very carefully about the possession having to be the registered and tracked state approved weed! If it's vague - then it's supposed to be! Law enforcement gets the nod to enforce the law the states way!

Better yet, call a REAL GOOD MM lawyer and ask them about what I said! I work with 2 that believe that the days of personal growing are coming to a screeching halt for just this reason!

You are correct if you plan on moving and selling weed you will need some form of license.

IF you plan on growing you wont be selling to a disp without a license.

And if you are selling to patients you won't be growing.

It's pretty simple the whole thing

(ii) Tracking marihuana transfer and transportation by licensees, including transferee, date, quantity, and price.

Seems to only apply to a commercial grower...

Sigh, yes, it opens the door for "legal" sales of state controlled and monitored weed. It MUST have the "seed to sale" record to be legal for possession! YOU grow it - it won't HAVE that! That's the states loophole to arrest those in "non-compliance" of the "seed to sale" record and I just don't understand that train of thought either but, it's what it is!

I can't fathom why they want to increase spending by all the SHIT they propose to do? Is it some way of making buddies rich (trucking gets 3 bites at profit, while the grower and end seller get only one)...Is this getting somewhere by kick-backs and graft?

I don't fucking know!

BUT, the way I tell it was the way it was defined to me by lawyers back when they did the senate hearings last thanksgiving time! Hell, they kept postponing and cancelling every time a person against the bills got up to testify! The pro's (like the state police) got to say everything they wanted to and as much as they wanted! Now you tell me what way that was leaning from the start!

Yup and how about the need to have that proof of origin of what you possess ? How are YOU going to PROVE it came from YOUR plants grow? YOU don't have a WAY to! It's a catch - 22 situation and it's designed that way!
If you get caught with some that you grew and it doesn't have that state required proof.... Now just what do think the judge will say?

Go back to the link in the first post I made and read that carefully. READ between the lines. The writer did a piss poor job writing it BUT, he DID talk about the required chain of proof of origin!

(g) "Licensee" means a person holding a state operating license.

This excludes all medical patients and the laws they are governed under.

As a matter of fact I don't see anything that changes the patients rights if they follow what is written.

I do see that Caregivers have been pushed out of the selling situation.

I didn't think they should be doing that in the first place under the law written.

What I do see is some disp and caregivers who were trying to make their own laws....lol.

gotta love these laws, esp when football season starts. ohio wanted to do the same, voted down because fuck philip morris! now mi... again FUCK PHILLIP MORRIS...
