hey everyone, im growing an unkown strain and im having some trouble, cant narrow it down to one problem. can anyone help this plant is almost a month old by the way im using peat moss & perlite + a 20-20-20 fertilizer once a week
too much ferts. peat moss is not the best medium either. transplant into a 3-5 gal pot with a good soil mix and they may recover. the longer they sit in that the worst they'll get. you should not feed until at least 3 weeks. The roots are still small and sensitive. Over watering and too many ferts will kill a younger plant.
so far im using this set up. all together i have 380w, just lowered the plants abit to avoid heat stress from the 120w plant lamp in the middle. I know the plant lights rnt the best but its what i could find in Egypt. the nutrients is an all purposes 20-20-20 solution, which im thinking of laying off for a while. Thanks for the reply
Thanks for the replies !! Unfortunately ill have to do with this, due to the lack of stuff i can find in Egypt (been looking for some good nutes and appropriate lighting but no luck so far)
I think you should, the one is actually large enough it should be transplanted, others are not far behind.
You may have to get creative but you gotta get them in a better soil to have any hope of some success. Even recycling soil from other pots would be better than that. I knew a guy who went to a cemetery and got pots and old soil from a big pile of debris the grounds crew would throw in back.
Ya, the peat moss has to go first, transplant and try and get that as much off as possible, good nutrient rich dirt and then you can stop fertilizing for a while.
