Alright, this is the deal. I have 2 hydro setups, 1 in action already and another will be used for flowering. My question is, has anyone ever used perlite only as a growing medium? Im going to order some clay pellets but im just looking for a quick fix for portruding roots from my cubes. If anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate it.
I was also thinking of getting lava rocks to throw in the perlite to hold some of the moisture in the mix or maybe some old seashells i have laying around. None of the home and garden stores around here carry anything really along the lines of soiless gardening mediums. The only things they really carry are landscaping rocks, rubber mulch, red lava rocks, and perlite. So i guess if anyone has used or have seen any of these let me know how they do and which ones dont do so great.
I dunno, maybe i should just put down the blunt and order some pellets. haha
