..."growing out of the closet"

"Rollitup" is the best forum this 50 yr old hippie has found! You guys rock! Now this is what I've got...1 small closet, 3 flourescent 4ft cool-white (2 tubes ea.on 24 hrs.), 3 plants (kali-mist/blueberry), started on 4-1-10, 21 inches tall now (still veggie state), 1 small fan, 1 hepa-filter, also vent into attic with charcoal lined furnace filter.I've been lucky with my PH and pests - no issues! I'm using Miracle Grow 24-8-16 for now, plan on changing to MG 15-30-15 (for tomatoes) when I start flowering. I want to go about another 2 wks or at least get 3ft in height...we'll see. Any tips or hints are welcome! Here they are now:mj 038.jpgmj 039.jpg

Thanks!...oh yeah, you can see the top of a green 2 litre bottle in the bottom right corner - that's 1 of 3 homemade Co2 generators (sugar, yeast, and water)...not to sure if they've helped - but they sure didn't hurt!

Looks very nice! What are you gonna do for flower time? I dont know much about growing with flouros but the cool whites are the wrong spectrum for flowering.

...actually that's my concern too - and I'm not sure of the answer! I've been looking at some flouro-aquarium bulbs (they are bluish in color like grow lights) would these be right for the job? I'm looking for "warm" light now 2700k (I think)...

...I think I found the answer to my own question - the "blue" or "cool" light is for veggin, and the "yellow" or "warm" lights are good for flowering (did I get that right?). This forum is great!
