I have heard for farm is a great soil, and I have a read a few grow journals saying they didnt use nutrients.

Iam doing scrog with CFLs, If I just use fox farm soil with no nutrients or very very little nutrients added will this be ok?

with small plants yes. The bigger the plant the more they eat. If the plant uses up all the nutes in the soil then you have to feed/fertilize.

FF only has enough fertilizer in it for about a month or maybe a bit more. It takes longer than that to grow a plant.

After about 3-4 weeks, the plant'll eat up most of the nutrients in the soil. I recommend you add mollasses now and then, its very benificial, espicially 4th or 5th week of flowering. It's not nessessary but it will swell up the buds decently, give it a sweeter taste, its not gonna cost you much (mabe $2) , and its all organic! Just a thought

Cheers :)

Lets say it takes 5 months from seed to harvest.

If you first plant in a very small cup, and as months go by you transplant from a small pot into bigger pots. Each time you transplant into a bigger pot, you would add more new fox farm soil. This way through out your grow your plant has some nutrients to feed on.

Some people grow in soil and then transplant into DWC buckets. They remove all the dirt from the roots carefully and then put them into net pots.

If I did a transplant from soil to soil, Iam guessing that if I remove a lot of the old soil off the roots, and then planted into a new pot with fresh fox farm soil, the new fox farm soil will provide nutrients for my plant.

Will my plants die if they get very little nutrients, but enough water, enough lights, and PH is correct?

dude your plants will grow... they just won't be that awesome... your plants will grow and then when it's time to bud they will say "ok what can i use here to make buds?" and if theres nothing but water and light then they will do their best to flower using just that... but if you listen to the people on this forum who have grown before, they will all tell you GIVE THE PLANT WHAT IT'S HUNGRY FOR!!!!
or if you don't really like smoking pot and your just trying an experiment to see if you can grow something that your able to smoke... then yeah, fox farm soil, a cannabis seed, light, and water... you'll get something out of that but for me sounds like a waste of 3 months.
