Thanks im glad you approve WonderBlunder, Would a 4"CANFAN classify as a duct booster fan for the cold air intake?

I will hook the CANFAN up to a thermostat to kick in when temps reach excess of 77degress.

There ya go. The duct boosters are cheaper and less powerful than the canfans, so thats good. Duct boosters are usually about $25 for a 6". THermostat Idea is good, I would probably put some thought on where I placed the thermostat/sensor.

Im missing something here so bare w/me .. Themostats on exhaust may be dangerous .. A fires heat will activate the fan causing a stronger fire.
