GSC Autoflower in 5.5 weeks ... What should my light be set to?

Hey all

Quick question as im not sure if I want my light on 100% or 75% atm? ... I own a 100w (from the wall) unbranded Qboard n unfortuanlty it came with no suggested lighting guide.

The plant is 5.5 weeks old and currently in the bloom/stretch phase (I think see pics). Ive always had my light 14-12 inches from the top of the plant & it gets between 49-52 DLI atm.

There is a lot of conflicting info online n Im not sure if I want to be leaving my light @ 75% until the stretch has finsihed or If I need to be giving it the most light it can get right now?

Advice would be helpful

Thx for reading :)

Watch your plant for signs of stress, and adjust from there. Plants will vary in their preferences and tolerances, so there is no perfect number to set as a guide.

Edit : also, take notes and write down anything you do, especially if there’s a change in routine. Take notes on what you observe too. You’ll be able to go back and often see where you may have gone wrong.

A light meter indicates how much light is falling on your plant. Your plant tells you how much light it can use.

At 100 watts, even growing in a 2' x 2', you're not going to get a large crop. The size of a cannabis crop can be estimated by the DLI that the plant receives over the course of the grow and a 100 watt light for a 4 square foot area is only 25 wats sq meter. The best thing you can do it turn it up to 100% and get the light as low as possible.

How big is your grow area?
