H202 and Enzymes

Im using a RDWC 50 gal. system, chilled and attempting sterile for the 1st time. Didn't have much luck with bennies.

I've been searching around and can't find a good recipe, other than the bottle, for H202 and Hydrozyme. I'm mostly wondering if H202 will kill the enzymes? What dosage in ML/Gal. for H202

thanks for your help.

I'm not 100% sure enzymes are "life" for h202 to kill off per say... I'm pretty sure people use them together but I'm not 1 of them so I'm actually just talking out of my ass here but actually I have at least used hygrozyme before but never with h202 so yeah I am talking outta my ass I guess but google up using the 2 together...

I run sterile with h2o2 as my only sterilizer Never used a hydroguard or anything like that. I run small reservoirs so I use the 3% at 10ml per gallon, and refresh every 3 days but considering your running a much larger res than I am you would benefit getting the higher percentage (29% I believe) and follow the mixing directions on the bottle. Manufacturer of Hygrozyme says you can mix h2o2 at 1-2%.

i use food grade 35% h2o2 and 1ml/liter is the maximum dose that i would come close to, normally 1/2 of that once oe twice throughout a grow then a good cleaning with it in the end

I always wondered if h2o2 or bleach kills enzymes, too. Haha, could never find a certain answer. Bleach at .25ml/gal works great for maintaining a clean res and is cheap. Clorox, regular, non scented. .5ml/gal if you have a problem.

H202 will for sure kill the bennies, but bruh if you are in a RDWC fuck the bennies. That shit is just gonna fuck you in the end.

I just read that enzymes break down h2o2, not the other way around. So I think you may be OK using enzymes with a sterilizing agent.. Like a wound, you use h2o2 to disinfect it, the enzymes break down h2o2 so it doesn't do damage you your wound. So maybe it would make the h2o2 less effective? Fuck if I know, but that sounds good
