Ok, I got a hanna ph/ppm/ec meter and I want to make sure I read this right bc it seems like the numbers never stop computing. Am I suppose to record the number that shows when the timer disappears or am I suppose to record the number that shows after its slowed down after a min and a half? My aeroponics ? is if I get an aeroponics system, how do the seeds start since there's no rockwool or anything to stick them in? Thanks in advance for your expertise.

I have the same meter. I just wave it around in the water till it becomes stable. I never bother to look at the clock.

Ummm, check your battery and/or unit. I had a brand new one that went crazy the minute I turned it on without putting it in solution. It was defective. If you're is working properly, to take a reading, I drain out a small glass of nute soup and put the meter in the glass. After 10-15 seconds, it should settle down and that's the reading I use. You'll get the hang of it shortly.

You WILL have to use a grow medium in an aeroponics unit as well. It can be rockwool, Rapid Rooters, Coco or SOMETHING.
