Well, to my knowledge, Ocean Forest doesn't come with microbes in it. Molasses is like a carb builder, and plants can use it as a sort of weight gain during the later flowering months. I have heard of people using molasses during veg to make the stems and branches stronger because it's high in potassium. Now Ocean Forest does have food already in it. So if you are adding the microbes in yourself, they will actually feed off the food that is already there. And what they give off is what your plants will eat

Happy frog is for starting seedlings i believe, says so on the bag. I use it for seedlings and clones first going into soil. It has mycorrizhae (sp?) and im not sure if OF does or not. Most people i know mix OF and promix for "adult" plants. The promix tends to dry out and OF holds water almost too much, so it usually makes a good blend. Hope this helps!
