Got the old girl down today and trimmed her up. Got a better yield than I expected for her considering! Here's the finished product:

Lots of popcorn bud on the tray along with sugar leaves. Those are going into my butter or oil, depending on which I decide. I really want to make some butter that WORKS for a change so any advice on that subject is welcome!!!

Girl two is looking at about 2 more weeks at least.

Hello, Great work!!
I dont know how long you've been growing but have you ever tried hanging the whole plant and doing a dry trim job? or Semi-dry?
I like to wait until the buds are dry and the stems still bend. from here i chop each branch off and bunch everything up and put it in a plastic bag for an hour or so (until buds re moisten from the stems)
from here i trim it up and finalize the dry
sometimes if things go too quick i trim on the 4th or 5th day and put in a paper bag for the rest of the time
I always make sure it gets to dry for at least 9 days , with the goal of being 14 days (which is really hard to do in my climate)

If you attempt the whole hang dry be sure to make the branches seperate and Pull air through it, not blowing an oscilating fan against it

I like to use a carboard box with an exhaust fan in the beginning on one end with holes on the other, this brings a calm breeze through and avoids mold
sometimes ill cut up the plant when it really dries up just to group the stalks together so they dry slower, i move em around to avoid mold though a few times a day

if its really high humidity though you may just wanna trim the leafs off.

try the whole hang dry with dry trim at least once and try to get to 14 days, without letting it mold its so nice

Indoors, CFLs and mylar in a tent fashion. Fox farms nutes and soil, liquid kelp, and lots of pH balanced well water

didn't have room for hanging the whole plant plus I like nice manageable stems personally.

lol just seeing if u've tried it lol. didnt see what you said about the butter until now , yeah i like using a crock pot and what i do is i freeze the weed, bring water in crock pot on low to a boil. then add whatever amount of heated butter. then you take the weed from the freezer and crumble it in
I hear you only need to do it for 3 hours but i do at least 6. What i do is after the butter is added and i add the weed i turn it to keep warm and put the lid on. I stir it up and then every couple hours i turn it up to low so it gets nice and hot and then back to low and put the lid on. I leave the crock pot in my garage and use rubber spatulas and a smooth plate to rest them on because the canabutter is really sticky. Strain everything through cheesecloth into a bowl or something big enough and put it into a fridge they will seperate and you can re do the process. the next time when the water is boiling you can take the remnents from the cheesecloth and dunk it in the water. this will take any extras out and you can squeeze it with a few big spoons or something, then throw it out or save for the next re-cooking
then you add the butter, restrain through cheesecloth again, and repeat
the main thing is you dont want to overheat the butter, this will burn the shit
