Harvest or not???

I have 3 plants at 10 weeks flower. I want a good head high and no couch lock but not sure weather to harvest now or not. The buds are all sticky and aren't getting any bigger. My problem is the trichs - at the top of the plants they are all milky and some have gone amber but the bottom ones have crystal clear trichs. Any advice would be most welcome. I don't want to crop too early and waste the last few months but on the other hand I don't want to be glued to my couch.

do a partial harvest,harvest the maincola and let the pop corn buds go another week so they ripen a little more

That's what I was thinking - will it not harm the plants?

i chop at 50 50 amber

it wont hurt the plant,it will benefit it cus instead of throwing energy towards the main bud,it will now throw energy into the popcorn buds and make them put on weight,plus it speeds up ur curing time cus the main bud takes longer to dry than the pops

Thanks - what do you use to cut them?

a razor blade,something sharp.be careful,it can be difficult to cut it

dont use a razor blade
get a pair of cheap hardressing scissors from a general store
or somethign realy fine and sharp
when i cut, i leave a tad of leave so when i roll it, it burns easier.

a lot of times outside croppers do that a lot just to get a bigger harvest,just keep croping the plant over and over. A pic would be nice.the last couple of weeks she will explode.clip a bud now and take one towards the end of harvest and see which hi you like better.
