Harvest Pics - Kannabia Smile & Afrodite (autos)

Here's a few pics of my first indoor grow harvest.

I've given them all a good trim and altogether (wet, obviously!) it weighs about 94g... any thoughts on what this'll be after drying & curing? 50g? 40g?

They're now all hung up and drying.

They've been a pleasure to grow, though I didn't treat them too well early on in their lives (see my other posts). They've taken over 100 days but this is mainly due to me I think. I absolutely stunk after the chop (the wife was none too pleased "What if my parents drop by?" (they never just 'drop by'!)) and I got a nice ball of scissor hash to have this weekend.... and boy-o-boy do I love scissor hash!

I've now got a couple of bagseeds left in the tent that are looking really juicy, probably 4 times the size/weight of these. I know a lot of people think autos are a waste of time but they have their uses, especially for a first timer. I've learnt a lot during this grow and I've no doubt my next one will be VERY fruitful. :clap:

I've also got a load of trimmings and tiny buds that I plan of trying to make some hash from. I've got them in a sealed bag in the freezer currently, gonna pick up a bag of ice tomorrow and try doing the cheapo way of making hash (sod getting some of those fancy bags just yet).

FYI - The Smiles main cola is really solid and the buds are ridiculously sticky, whereas the Afrodite is quite airy but had more on it overall.

I got 5 freebies from kannabia going they are real short like you said the others can be 4 times bigger, but they can have there uses to especially for short grow spaces

Exactly - if you're short on space autos are definitely the way to go. As can be seen from my pics, it's easy to achieve some decent size buds and I've no doubt others could do the same with only a few feet of space.

I started these with CFLs but (thankfully) got myself a decent 400w HID to flower them. However, I've seen plenty of good results on RIU of autos grown completely with CFLs.

These were started in seedling compost, then eventually transplanted to cheap compost - no fancy soil-less system. I used some BioBizz nutes, but I reckon you could just get some normal, cheap, organic nutes from any garden centre and still get excellent results.

I'll be interested to see what results you get with those puppies - have you got any of the Smile or Afrodites?

thanks for the info on vigor at least. i'm trying to research afrodite & thai fantasy and see so far their gear is at least healthy. if you'd post a smoke report for afrodite, i'd really dig that. i'm looking to take an already up lowryder strain and try to speed it up or shrink it with joey weed's C99 x A11
