Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone harvested in stages and how they go about it? ie harvest the top colas and branches and then let them carry on flowering to let the lower bud rippen more to harvest later.

Cheers

Personally, I fully believe that harvesting in steps is the very best way to go. Here is what I do. Top several times throughout the whole process. I take out fan leaves in an educated method, a little at a time. Yield will be 4 times more than normal with this method. This works only if you have very good soil.
Next, I take both types of "highs", at first, from the plant, milky buds & amber buds. If molasses & seaweed is the steady diet, and there is no rush, the picked buds will start new buds. While you are trimming the buds you have, the others are getting to where you want them; amber, while new buds replace the harvested buds. With the right nutes & light, this can go on for awhile. Don't mix your milk & amber buds, to see & play with the different highs.

Thank you for the reply very informative.........how do you go about flushing and nuting? do you flush then pick the best bud then re-nute again or just continue with the flushing?

Advice would be much appeciated!
