Harvesting small amount early

Hey fellas, have a quick question. We just planned a last minute vacation and we leave 2 weeks from now. My plant is about 2-3 weeks away from harvest. I'd like to be able to bring a little on vacation. Any suggestions as to how I could harvest maybe one small branch off the plant? Any ideas as to how to quick flush it and dry it in time? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks guys.

it really wont get you that high but if you're gonna make that decision you're gonna make it... if you want noobs to come in here and agree with you then I guess you came to the right place... no pro will tell you it's ok to harvest early for a trip....

You would harvest it just as you would the rest of the plant, but just take one branch. Unless you want to flush the whole plant there is no way to just flush one branch. It will be dry in two weeks for sure. It will not have the taste or potency of the finished cured priduct but will give you a "uppy" high.

i would leave it until the day b4 i left, then cut 1 branch that i wanted place the stuff into a brown paper bag and take it with me, once your there place it outside or on a open windowsill and should take long to dry. at least if you do it this way then it was almost ready anyway, rather than cutting it off 3 weeks early. (which will be shit by the way)

It's always tempting to harvest a tad of your efforts ealry but is worth the wait. It is also very important to know when your plant has reached it's maturity. Cannabis produces 80% of it's trichomes in the last two weeks of it's life cycle. By picking even a week early you are reaping only about 60% of it's full potency. Understanding when the peak f the plants maturity becomes much more important when you know that even a couple days makes a big differance. Most new growers know about the change of the color in the trichomes. I prefer using a Brix meter, this allows me to know almost to the hour when I should harvest. Good Luck
