Has anyone compared plant size between solo cup and five inch rockwool cube?

Long time lurker here,

I'm curious to learn if any of you that have tried growing a plant in a 16 oz solo cup have also tried the same thing using only a five inch rockwool cube? I have not done the former but am near harvest time for my first ever grow solely in a five inch rockwool cube. I'd love to hear stories from you all that have done either or both.

Thanks,

You cant really compare the two.

Most solo cup growers only grow in solo cup where as rockwool growers use it as a starting medium and usually in combination with other medium or in hydroponic system at a latter stage.

I used to grew and harvested in 4x4x4 but in conjunction with a modified hydro set-up. From seed to harvest all my roots are confined in that small block. Got 2-3 oz.

Obviously, you get a bigger plant with rockwool.
