I have a slime building up on my airstones (I dont think its algae, its something different I cant remember what its called. Think it starts with a "t"..) They suggested something called aqua shadow. Its a colorant that golf courses use to reflect sunlight and prevent algae and other nasties from growing. Apparently it works really well in a hydro setup but the label says 1lb treats 365000 gallons! that works out to only 0.0250g per 10 gallons. That doesnt seem right at all... Anyone have experience with any product like this?
