Well... this ain't gonna be it.
What's a song by any artist (either well known or totally obscure) that you listen to frequently, think is one of the best songs you've ever heard but you're pretty sure no one else has either:
A. Heard of the song.
or
2. Like the song.
or
III Heard of the artist/group.
Bonus points for explaining what the song means to you and/or why you think it's so great.
Here's one of mine, and for the bonus:
it's because I was/am a Respiratory Therapist, was dealing with some PTSD issues after I left the field. When I first heard this song, I thought about a very traumatic case I dealt with that completed my "burnout" and caused me to quit the field. It's from a posthumous release of the solo album of INXS singer Michael Hutchance , a song called Breathe. It's an outstanding rock and roll tune that integrates a massive bass line, intertwining guitar licks that are pretty fucking good, and perfectly integrated drums/percussion, with a soaring vocal range that makes the lyrics come alive but unfortunately, reminds me of death.
To combat death, the "trick is to keep breathing".
