i know this has probly been asked a few times but after a lot of research via google there is no real answers from people who have actually tried this and found out themselves! so i thought i'd post to see if now anyone has any evidence to back up theories.. such as reduced yeild.. shorter harvest times.. takes longer to harvest!
i have been on 11 on 13 off from week 5 of flower (8 week strain) and currently from week 6 ive put it down to 10 on 14 off, so far 3 days into week 6.
so how i see it is basically telling the plants its november time to ripen up?
anyone else tried this please let us know and thanks for reading!

i know ed rosenthal reccomends that cycle for equatorial sativas that may not be ripening on 12/12. he appears to be fairly big on manipulating the light cycle based on the region of origin for the strain. you might want to check out some of his books because he talks about it quite a bit.

very intriguing concepts...it would only make sense since different regions have different lighting schedules/patters...especially if its a strain originated say in mountains I would guess they would get less light coverage since the plants would be in shade a great deal

makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint
