Hash made from bong/grinder/bowl leftovers?

I usually clean my "tools" with ISO rubbing alcohol and I have made ISO hash before (soak bud in rubbing alcohol and evaporate off the alcohol on plate then scrape). So I'm wondering if anyone has cleaned their stuff and used the resulting alcohol to make hash. I'm not sure how this would taste, smoke, ect. especially since ISO hash taste is usually pretty rough. So anyone tried it?

well i use the 99% iso to give the rig a good rinse when it gets too sticky. then evap and put into my 'recycled oil' container if thats what you're after... gets us through the dry spells.

Yes, we don't waste anything, but usually use Ethanol, which is less pungent and easier to purge below sensory threshold, unless we are making a topical, and then we use denatured alcohol or Iso.

quick question, how come you wouldnt just use ethanol for the topicals too?

The price. Our denatured is mostly ethanol, with methanol added and costs about $5 a gallon, by the drum.
