If you haven't committed to buying a system yet--OR if your expanding on a AF2 system, StinkBud's DIY is MUST READ( https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/116859-harvest-pound-every-three-weeks.html )!! This system is much better in quality and you can build it yourself the size you want/need and the "AERO" is much more aero with these sprayers. Best of all: it's EASY, it's 1/4 the price as GH....

Pics stolen from SB's thread---haha

I am currently running a AF20 and in the middle of building a SB system that's going to hold 30 sites with the 3" cups @ 12" from site to site, staggered............ The AF's are too tite............imho

But yes, as AEROPRO said, check the hydro shops, or online for the AF stuff...........otherwise go to Home Depot for the diy system..............

Without the Aeroflo2 level tubes in the troths, there is no root submersion. Aeroflo2 is a passive aero system- meaning that the aero properties of this system <spray between the 1-10micro size is produced by the popping of the bubbles inside the troths when the lazer spay lines hit the nutrient inside. This level of nutrient is changeable by the internal level tubes..... without them you have NFT, and that is not what aeroflo2 is........big D little U little H

Very well said AEROPRO! I read a couple of your other posts and your really helping this make more sense. I didn't realize the differences. Thank you for the input!!
So do you have some pics to post?? I 'd really like to see your set-up in action! And what strains do you find to work the best in these? And, do you fill all of the sites??
Thanks!
HAPPY NEWE YEAR!!!!:weed:

Filling al the sites is optimal, as long as you really stay on your trimming. No newbies ever like to really trim up their plants from the bottom so most of the time Aeroflo peeps end up with a big mess!. It is best to fill these systems to the max,, but you want to keep them all the same size, and you should be shooting for about 3' in finishing height. A good trick I invented is rotating the troths halfway through flowering, this way the plants make a V when you trade the outside tubes for the inside letting the littler guys on the outside get the main beam on the inside,, this was pretty hard, and I had to have my buddy help me slide them out safely but when it was all said and done it really helped balance them out.

I am no longer growing because my company finally took off this last year and I worry about liability..=-( this sucks because I really do love this, and I had to get rid of my systems just to stop. Aeroflo2 is a dream system..
