having some problems with my cropped bud

i have this bag seed that i cropped as an experiment and it seems to be having some problems. this is my first cropped top so i dont really know if im doing anything wrong here but my other plants seem to doing fine. the bud growth is pretty good but the fan leaves seem to be showing some "browning". and its really only isolated to one side. i am by no means an expert so any advice would be appreciated. i cut back on my nutes and ph my water religiously never exceeding 6.6-6.8.

Your over fertilizing -IMO Your leaves are way to green. I see the start of a Magnesium deficiency in a few leaves on the top left of your Pic.
The leafs around your bud look like light bleaching. is your light close to the plant?
Or Start of toxic salt build up.
Or TMV

i am using CLF lights so they are pretty much as close as i can get them without the heat hurting them, i'd say about 3" away. i just started using 1/4 strength fert a apposed to 1/2 strength. and i have not tested the run off as i was advised as to not really look at that as long as i was using the correct ph'd water and good soil. everyone has their opinions of course but i am open to all criticism.

Your bulb is touching those leaves and burning them.

my bulb is 3" away from the plant. CFL's. so its definitely not touching it. are you saying its too close? i've gotten CFL's closer than that with no shock to other plants.
