Strain: Hawaiian Surprise
This is a multi year project of mine to create the perfect strain
for me and my needs, its heritage is Native northen lights from
southern Canada, and big bud with a constant maui woie mother.
This beauty grows as well indoors as outdoors with large yield with a really short flower time of 8 weeks and 9 if you want that extra punch in potency.
Its smell is skunky in nature with much increased odor if plants are in stress, I have found this to be very helpful in early problem detection.
The plants grow strong from seed with little help needed add nutes in the 4th week of flowering to see massive growth and flower swell. However they will do quite nicely with minimum nutrients start to finish. Keep the ph near 6.8 and the temp near 78 and she will thrive.
Also very resistant to fungus and mold, insect and animal damage.
Growth:
OUTDOORS
Up to 8 feet tall, huge producer massive buds.
INDOORS
Easy to achieve Short very bushy plants with almost no internode length purely branches! Simply by choosing your veg height a 12 inch veg plant will produce a perfectly bushy 20 ish inch plant. Where as a plant veged to 25 inches can exceed 5 feet and just as densely packed.
Nutes:
Works best with minimal nutes, fox farm or any organic blend is recommended for the healthiest plants.
Yield:
Easy to achieve, 3.5 oz indoor, .5 to 1 lb outdoor.
Bag Appeal:
8 out of 10
Cures to a wonderful yellow orange, with just the right amount of sugar sprinkled on, tricomes are not too think but give hint to its potency, the not so sticky buds are just tacky enough to give the perfect mid day buzz. This a great strain for bud porn! If it had a shade of blue I would rate it higher in the bag appeal.
Smell:
Super sweet, citrus, with skunk undertones
Taste:
Sweet, fruity citrus with a slightly sour finish, the after taste will leave you wanting more, as it lingers on the tongue for a long time after smoking.
The High:
its a strong, energetic buzz that will have you bouncing around knocking items off your hunny do lists! Oh my test subjects all felt increased energy and motivation.
Comments:
My overall score is a 9 of 10, and the only reason I wont give a 10 is because she will not tolerate light stress or temp stress well, making her prone to hermi if not handled correctly. This is a advanced strain to grow but the benefits greatly outweigh the drawbacks.
