Hawk's All Auto Grow - 2025 Grow Journal

3/30/25
Transplanted the seedlings. Put the Blue Dream Auto and the Sugar Granddaddy Auto in 7-gallon fabric grow pots. Used Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, perlite, and mycorrhizal fungi. Added some growth powder to the rockwool cubes and topped them all off w. worm castings. Put them in the tent. The 20-inch saucers are ridiculously large! Have two fans in the tent, along w. the humidifier. The Autos look TINY in those 7-gallon grow pots!

Transplanted the CBD Auto into a 5-gallon fabric grow pot.

Placed the White Widow Auto in a rockwool cube in the humidity dome.

Where was the WW auto from ? I have a couple from pheonix seeds i havent ran yet . I'll be interested to see how yours plays out ,im going to run mine next season outside up the tree again i reckon .

The White Widow is from ILGM. We'll see what happens!

WOW! I ended up w. the Auto 20 pack from ILGM. First seed was a dud. Second seed has just been transplanted. We'll see what happens...

Watered everything. White Widow Auto is still in the humidity dome. Hope to transplant it this weekend.
 
4/4/25 – Day #20

Very basic Rookie Question #1:
When do you start counting days? I set Day #1 as the day I dropped seeds in water. Is this the proper way to count?

Very basic Rookie Question #2:
Seems like all the seed companies have different ways of measuring Flowering Time. Some can be read as from Seed to Harvest times. Others are how long the actual time in flower is. How to figure this out?

Flowering times posted are a guidelines/guess kinda like tire milage. Your mileage may vary.
My 8 week flower white widow went 10 weeks 1 day and really only 1 of 2 plants was " ready" when chopped.
You will get zero agreement on age of plants based on when dropped, emerged,flipped,first pistle, tricome color or any other measurement. Mostly because the lanes for cannabis are wide and many ways to get there.

When I journal I use statements like
WW 42 days above ground to specify what I mean.

Watered all four of the autos. Checked my light and it was too far away from the plants. Lowered the light to 24” above the plants. Have the light setting at the lowest level for an 18/6 cycle. Have a humidifier in the tent as well as two oscillating fans (also at the lowest setting).

Should I be concerned w. the coloring on the Sugar Granddaddy Auto?

I had one turn lime after an unfortunate overwatering event. Ok actually the top fell off knocked the cup off and flattened the little thing. Glug glug.

She is in the tent drying before cureing. These things are tough.
 
4/12/25
Noticed coloration issues with a couple of the Autos. Fed all 4 plants their first dose of GeoFlora Veg – ½ cup each to the 5-gallon Autos and 2/3 cup each to the 7-gallon Autos. Started LST (Low Stress Training) on 3 of the 4 Autos (the White Widow is still too small to LST). Gave all of them a thorough watering. Hopefully, they’ll all respond well.
