HBBum - Here we grow! Hazy OG and Blueberry Auto

Hello all, back after a bit of a hiatus. My least couple of grows yielded very well and I am still sitting with a healthy surplus but I missed having something growing and my legally compliant friends tend to benefit when there is extra laying around. Also missing materials for delicious edibles

First.. on the setup:

Went out and purchased a 2x4x7 tent and set that up in my shed (fully insulated for temps) so this should run even a little cooler than when I was growing in my office. This also helps with the noise problem I had with all of those fans sitting behind me while I was trying to get some work done.

400W cooltube, right now only running HPS even during this veg time since for some reason the MH is tripping my GFI. Ordering another MH build to see if that corrects the problem. Have a 6" Tjernlund M-6 rated at 540 CFM connected to a Variac Autotransformer to control velocity. This is connected to a DIY carbon filter (I can post a link if anyone is interested on my DIY filter) that vents outside.




I am a little concerned about my intake since I am using the mesh rectangle vents at the bottom of the tent which will clearly allow light to come in, but seeing as this is a mostly dark (some light comes in around the door) shed I am hoping this will not be an issue.



The Strains:
I picked up a clone of Hazy OG and just popped an Auto Blueberry in the little solo cup off to the side.

For anyone that has seen my other grows from my signature, this is a HUGE upgrade in space from my little 22" x 22" space so I am super excited.

Replaced the GFCI outlet and that seems to have done the trick, I hear they can go bad over time.

I went and picked up a Blue Dream to round out the tent. Auto seed has not popped yet but my temps have been way to low while I was running the LED instead of the MH. Now its running about 85F so that should help. Also put a ziplock over the cup to keep humidity up.

I had not realized how much my little Hazy OG clone had grown until I put in the new Blue Dream, I will try to get some pics up tonight.

Oddest thing this morning. I was checking before lights out and my auto seed seemed to have popped completely out of the soil. I went to check on it and the entire thing was laying on top of the soil, the cracked shell and about 3/4" of taproot. I am not sure how it got up top. I covered in with about 1/4" of soil and gave it a mist and put it the ziplock back over it for humidity, hopefully the taproot did not get destroyed by the light.

welcome back hbbum ive downsized from the 600 to a switcheable 250-400 galaxy ballast running a homemade tub for now next grow ill have a 2x2 tub i think ill pull up a seat for this one as well

Just went through and transplanted the clone and re-organized the tent a little since the light can't get all the way to the floor (plus who wants to sit on the floor to tinker around). It looks like my seedling may make it as well, I see a little bit starting to break through the soil.

I am a little worried about my fan, I do not think it is strong enough to get enough stem movement, I may need to find something with a little more punch.

Stoked this morning to go check and see my lil' auto blueberry poking her head out to say g'mornin'

Shoot, I suppose I should have started the auto in the 3g cloth pot from the start. I will gently transplant in a couple days I guess.

Just ended up transplanting the Auto Blueberry yesterday into a 3g fabric pot, didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked, but she seems unphased:




Hazy OG tied up a bit and just gave plain water, in 1G pot. I need to top off the soil.


And here is the blue dream, already recovered well from the transplant from the solo cup into a 2G pot. Plain water today.:

A couple more adjustments today

Replaced the short cool tube I had with a full sized one, gives much better coverage since the other one was for my tiny space. I also removed the humidity dome from the sprout and moved her directly under the light with the others. Hopefully she is not too small for that, I will check again in a few hours to see how she handles the light increase.

hey hbbum seedlings seem to take forever in the beggining but no more plants than youre running youll be able to pull it off

I was thinking the seedling is going pretty quick, though I wish I would have started at the same time as I transplanted the Hazy OG since she is an auto and I will take as much time at 18/6 as I can give her. She is supposed to take 10 weeks from seed to harvest with 6 weeks of flowering, we will see about that since I am in not rush at all.

Time to transplant the Hazy OG to a 5G pot, she has outgrown the 1G and has a bunch of nice tops forming from the bondage. I will post some pics after I do the transplant (probably tomorrow). I gave her some plain water tonight.

the hazy og & the blue dream are both probably gonna be large plants when i first started growing i ordered an auto blueberry i think it was from the joint doctor but it never popped

The hazy has tripled in size over the pay 10 days. Looks like she will be a monster. The Blue dream looks like she has been focusing on roots since in a bigger container but I would expect her to take off over the next week.

This will be my first auto, so no idea what to expect.

Transplanted the Hazy OG to a 5G pot with roots organic and gave a full watering. Also tied her down completely to spread out growth in the pot.



Put all the pots on the ground and rearranged my fan. The light coverage is much better.


Blue dream is taking a little longer to grow up top, got a little later start and is in a 2G pot. I gave a top dressing of 1/2 tbsp mexican bat guano, 1/2 tbsp Happy frog 5-8-4 and a light watering even though not dry yet.
