Heat/Cooling question regarding an attic grow room

I plan on building a decent-size growroom inside an attic, where summer temps can go higher than 105F.
The room will be very well isolated, but still it's going to get hot during summer.
Flower room is around 17X13, planning on fitting around 8-10 X 1000W'ers .
My question is this : do i REALLY need to use air-cooled hoods with tempered glass (hence loosing light ) with a very decent AC inside, or do you guys think i can pull it off without loosing light and get a really strong AC/s for the room and cool the excess heat like that ?

That sounds like a pretty big setup, you wanna get at least 200w of AC in there at around 2 weeks of veg or depending on size (sorry if this post is irrelevant)

Why not cooled hoods or tubes?
'
And your AC system?

I think you'd need both with an ambient Temp of 105 f !!!
Your AC's mounted in attic also? They'll make it hotter!

Heat will be your constant enemy...
Insulate the attic on all sides of the grow...
That will be one hot box...
Plan on Co2

Lol that will never work while also being more cost effective than buying a pound instead of growing it...just bad idea all around growing in the attic is..

Didn't want to waste any light. I'll be having 50k BTU. I thought about CO2 but since it's not a sealed room.. not so sure hmm..

very true unless i'm not paying for electricity, which i'm not.. lol

Then who is?

8-10 1k watt hps lamps are going to create a shit ton of heat... Not to mention the 105 degree ambient temps already inside the attic... So in all, your gonna need to cool down about 200 degrees of heat... At least 200.. So a decent ac isn't gonna cut it.... You're gonna need a good ac... No doubt about it...and that's with air cooled hoods... Without them, you're gonna need a even better air conditioner.. I would say at least a 40k btu.... 20k to cool the 105 degrees to normal temps and 20k for the lights...most likely more then that... I've seen people recommend 3-5k btu per 1k watt cause 1k I guess puts off 3k btu of heat? Just saying what I've read no clue if it's true..

didnt read read that ur gonna have a 50k btu... But still it may need to be higher.. Like I said that's some serious heat

Right, in my limited experience with a larger scale room/house. Temp is the constant threat and AC units create more than they help unless isolated.

You know what...this is a huge setup for someone that needs to ask if they really need to use air cooled hoods...your playing around out of your league man, this plan is never going to work i'm doing you a favor by being straight with you. Figure out another place to growor your setting yourself up for failure, or your just trolling in the first place for all I know

Lemme get this straight, you intend on adding 8 to 10k in wattage to this attic?.

For starters, you will have to upgrade your breaker box...and you'll probably need a commercially rated HVAC system. And will this need heating in the winter?.

And the electric bill will triple all of the sudden.

Sure you want to do this?.
