Heating issues

I'm using a 400w HPS grow light in my grow tent. This exact same one:

New 4x4 x 6.5 HYDROPONIC GROW TENT HYDRO BOX HUT - eBay (item 360090045214 end time Sep-24-08 21:00:00 PDT)

But I cannot keep the temp below 100. I have a cool mist humidifier, 12 inch fan and two plants in there...so there's not room for much else. My light is a little over 1 foot away from them.

Any tips?

get a fan calle the cool operator jr its reallt powerfulness and point it directly at your blulb close as you can get it

first, check the temp with the thermometer in the shade but at the top of your plants. you only have problems if its above 80 in the shade.

if you still have a problem with heat you need to add a small exhaust fan to pull air out of the area.
