Hello my friends. Happy Monday. So I did 2 little tweaks in my tent. Since both my autos are now flowering, I...
a) Adjusted the light to 20/4 from 24/0.
b) I've read today that "When a leaf absorbs IR, it heats the leaf creating actual leaf temperatures of 5-7 degrees higher than the 78F degree air temperature. Thus with light sources rich in IR, an air temp of 78F is functionally 83F-85F to the plants metabolism. LED’s emit no/littlr IR, so to achieve similar metabolic rates found in HID or greenhouse conditions at 78F air temp,LED growers need to run the room air temp at 83F-85F."
So, because I have my growtent next to my bed (not recommended) and the fans don't let me sleep, I had no fans but had my tent open for optimal temps. It's winter now and temps are 22-24°C. I closed 3/4 of the growtent "door" for better reflection and to raise the temps a little bit. Temps inside the tent are now 27-29°C. Is that too much? Light is 240w Meijiu QB at 20inches(50cm) distance. Thank you guys.
