Hello and Help Please.

Hi guys I had been reading the forums on and off and finally decided to join.

Not to be rude and cut to the chase but I would like some advice one of my babes.

I have a Trainwreck seed that had been growing fine for the first 5 days
on the 6th I noticed that it started to droop a little. So i propped (gently and carefully) with a plastic tie that I cut the tip to look like a Y.
I had been keeping my eye on it for the next three days after that. It seem to be growing but as it grew I noticed it go droopy. I made sure the tie was not cutting off water and just giving it support. Well today I check on it and it seemed even droopier. I drained a bit of the water and raised it closer to the light so now its about 3 in from the light (T5 CFL)

To describe this lady.
Her stem looks normal at the bottom.
you go up maybe 1 1/2in and it gets thin for 1/2in then it looks like goes normal for the rest of its length (3/4 in) before it reaches its leaves.

So please any advice or guidance to help my gal out would be greatly appreciated.

Not much info so I will take a stab. How is the humidity? Low because this is sounding like damping off. Have they been under a dome?

Need a picture otherwise I'd be guessing.

I actually propped it straight up after i took these pictures

sorry a stupid webcam and a bad ceiling light is all i Have in this space.

What kind of light are you using and how close is said light to your plant?

That is your problem. The plant needs more light to grow. Do some research on adequate lighting for MJ plants, CFLS in particular. these are your best bet. good luck.

im using a T5 CFL and I just sat it 3-4 inches from light.

oh I the room I took the picture in isnt the light source. They have a closet to themselves.

i say give it as much sunlight as possible! and just wait it out t.wreck is pretty strong it has heart so keep it propped up and make sure the top end of her is recieving flow from da roots. sunlight sunlight sunlight.

Make sure you don't overwater it - that can send it droopy...

...water it every 4-5 days and keep a couple CFLs about 2-4 inches from the top at all times!

ALSO: leave the lights on 24 hours for the first 3 weeks then do 18/6...

OK cool guys. I guess Ive set it up ok. Ill keep you guys posted. Thanks for the responses. Another thing. What do you guys think of mixing veg nutrs in the misting bottle I have? Would that help? Is it suggested?

This won't help you now, but I never prop my seedlings up. It the fugger can't tuff it out and grow, fug it, its a weakling anyway... lolol

I think it makes them stronger when you make them work for it a bit. It is a life form, it does want to survive. You just gotta make it work for it a little sometimes.


p.s. That stem look really bad, like it got handled and pinched...

yeah thats finally setting in. Im going to take them out of the ziplocs and im going to get a dome

man i cringe when i look at this picture. I believe the ziploc bag prevented it from its growth(cause it was the power grower) FUck.
