Why would you buy clones that obviously have bugs?

You might try House of Clones in Van Nuys. I went there last year and got some Louis XIII plants that were OK... however I messed them up by buying a clone from a dispensary that brought in the damn spider mites. So I guess the message is, quarantine the newbies until you know for sure they are healthy.

I once wondered where to go for clones in So. Cal, until I realized that my grow area is 100% bug free--and many other growers' aren't! So I decided the risk of bringing in questionable clones from outside sources isn't worth contaminating my grow and needing to introduce pest prevention.
Many of the online outlets that sell clones have a minimum order amount, which is somewhat counter-intuitive for someone with a medical recommendation, limited to 6/12 plants.
OP, do you have issues with buying a few seeds and running a perpetual harvest using clones? That's what I'm doing and it doesn't require keeping a mom...just keep cloning the clones.Then you KNOW you are getting the genetics that you paid for, which isn't the case with shady ass spots predominating L.A. and surrounding areas.
I use Single Seed Centre and purchase single feminized seeds; shipped to So. Cal within 5-7 days!
