This season i decided to grow my own safe medicine, for the first time. My baby is about 2 weeks old and about 4 inches tall with 4 nodes, so my question is.. do i need nutrients to grow? Obviously its in miracle grow (who doesent have some laying around?) and im also FIM-ing LST and some other methods so i do know what im doing, but my overall question is will me not using marijuana nutrients effect my quality/ yield? it is a really decent strain i just need to know. anyone got an answer? any help appreciated (: and may anyone give me a guess at what my yield will be from growing outside?

Yes it will effect your quality and yield. The majority of growers will not use Miracle Grow for many reasons, look into Fox Farm Ocean Forest for soil and Fox Farm Trio for the food.

I dont think you have to go out and get all types of crazy nutes that some of the warehouse growers use but I mean do a little more than just plain MG. My first grow a few years back I didnt even use soil I grew in straight mud/sand from the nasty soil in my backyard. my plants where not the worst but I mean they where no where near there best potential. this year I used a mix of manure and soil and I plan to feed them bat guano and worm castings, maybe amendment or mix it all together idk yet but I'm looking to spend as least as possible

I guess your growing em outdoors since your in this section (pictures is always a great help if you want solid advice in here) and I guess you grow em in pot`s since you use Mg ? is there a reason why you don't grow em in the ground ? and what size pot`s

in general, when the plant is small and in Veg. it don't require much food, so a fresh repot every 3-4 week might bring it trough the vegetive stages, I usually don't use much doing veg other then 3 repots along the way, in good quality soil I may add, only if I spot a deficiency I have a small bottle of organic alge grow nuts I use

but in flowering they will need much more food to produce some nice Bud`s for you, the fruit don't grow on water and light alone, so atleast get a good tomato nutrients for bloom at your local "Walmart"

also, if you have stuff around like black strap molasses, Epsom salt and Lime it can be a cheap way to add some micro`s beside the NPK (do some research, its not that simple)
