This is a repost from another topic I created in a different sub forum, I had one guy saying underwatering and one guy saying overwatering. Sounds like I could use a second opinion :-)
I am not sure what I am doing wrong, 1st time growing, I try to water once a day if that depending on how moist the soil looks, indoor closet grow, lots of air flow.

I am thinking I am not giving them enough water, help? Ideas?
Little more info, they are a little under a month old, floresent lighting atm, one warm white one cool white.

One thing I might have been doing wrong is plain not giving them enough water? I had just heard so much about over watering I didnt want to screw it up
thanks guys, love the site!!

I think you're watering wrong. Roots spread out through the entire pot and you appear to be pouring water right near the stem. Use the same amount of water, but water the dirt, not the plant.

that other guy was right on the other thread. i didnt realize you were only giving it a little bit of water each time. you need to water it so the soil is moist, the dirt pulling away from the pot is proof of underwatering.....water it more less often from now on.

I concur with previous post stating not to pour the water near the stem as this can cause the root burn as well. you may need to get a small watering can if your currently using a milk or water jug as the hole is so large and the water comes out too fast

he didnt say how much he waters each time yet, original poster, how much do you give each plant when you water?

Looks like underwatering. The brown leaves at the bottom are getting all their water sucked out of them by the top leaves.
