Help growin in the arizona weather please!!!first time grower need help

MAN I PLANTED LIKE 10 GERMINATED SEEDS AND ONLY 3 OF THEM SPROUTED. DOES ANYONE KNW WAT COULDA WENT WRONG? AND R THERE ANY TIPS TOO GROWIN WIT THE EXTREMLY HOT WEATHER..HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WATER? SHADING? ANYTHING ELSE U THINK MINGHT B USEFUL PLS FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNW..THNX SMOKE WORLD

i grow in az.... shade is nice but i always just plant an ungerminated seed into the ground and make sure it has plent of water, and it gets acclimated verry quickly to the heat. some shade in the middle of the day might be good.
