I just found a MH lamp and fixture in my garage, I want to hook this bad boy up but the thing that is stopin me is the wiring. It just has 3 wires, Black,Green,White. I have no idea what to do, Help me I want to plug it into a normal outlet too. Any help is appreciated

does the fixture have a ballast to power the lamp? id also like to see a pic of everything and the wires.

The fixture does have a ballast to power it. Here are pics . I think this is a flood light , Do I want to use this?

yes you can use it. get an electrical box and mount it to where the wires come ou. make a cord or us an extention cord. cut the female end off. put the cord in the box using a romex connector. using wire nuts just match the colors of the wires and you should be good to go.
if your not sure please ask again for help.

You open the floodlight and see if there is a diagram on the inside, if not look the brand up online and see if they have information online.

If you have to guess, it should be Black is Hot, White is Neutral and Green is ground.
