Thanks for stopping by and reading guys, I'm on my first grow so I need some help.
So I just got two waterfarms and they are happily vegging away in week 4. I have read a lot on here and youtube about turning dwc's or waterfarm standalones into recirc systems with a controller and a res.
I currently have airstones in each farm but I feel maybe my system could use more o2 and less pH swing
I think I'm leaning towards doing this for my two farms, but I'm not sure exactly what the pros and cons are and if it's worth it. I also am a little confused when it comes to the concept. I have tools and a hardware store so no problem setting this up, but I want to understand why I'm even doing it first haha. The blueprint from the gh website is of little help to me, I need more explanation. I'm a concept man
1) what do I need (material wise) to rig up the waterfarms and res/controller
2) how do I do number 1
3) why should I even do number 2?
a) more res space? Better flow? More o2? More room for roots?
b) better growth? If so how?
4) assuming I should do this now, explain to me how I should waterproof it
a) and lightproof
5) how much will a good airpump/water pump cost
6) will this make running nute water during ScroG easier? (Most probably)
