Help me make bubbler

i want to make a ghetto version of this...

all i need is a air pump for fish tanks and a big air stone??????????? and the buckets. the air pump doesn't have to bo on a timer does it?

It will work if roots hang in water or medium get there's kits out there for like 15$ they drip water down from up top. Like a deep water/ drip system

No timer needed there might be a DIY hydro diagram on the top if the page in growfaqs
