So first of all, I'd like to say sorry for my short posts, I end up asking one question and end up needing to ask 5 more.
My First question is,
I've been wanting to get a lumatek ballast, but not sure how many types are their or what types should I look out for? Switchable, dimmable or electronic? what types should I look out for? Is there a newer model that has less flaws? (I hear there is but I'm not sure what to look for to ensure that I get the newer model)
Second question is,
For the lumatek ballast, I thought I would get a cooltube, to go along with the ballast setup, I want to be running a 250watt hps in a DR60 grow tent that has the Dimensions: 23.5" x 23.5" x 55"
I feel that this 250 watt light in a cool tube or aircooled reflector would be idea, somone recently said in one of my posts that a cooltube will lead to light being lost vs an air cooled reflector.
I'm having trouble finding truth in the matter, since my cabinet is only going to have the Dimensions: 23.5" x 23.5" x 55", I should get an aircooled reflector, that will be able to fit in my tent.I'm having some troubles finding one
Also, I'm having troubles finding a fan that is silent, as I don't really want to order pandoras box just to be stuck with the whistling sound of a jet engine in my closet. So what fan is quiet that can suck / blow through a carbon filter suitable for the Dimensions: 23.5" x 23.5" x 55" and out of an aircooled reflector, and out of the room?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I took considerably more time composing the post then my last several posts, I'm hoping to get some good helpful advice on setting this up.
