Help needed with C02 system idea

While I was planning my closet grow I was thinking about C02 systems. I couldn't figure out why so many people were using finicky yeast systems or large expensive C02 tanks for welding and what not. Being the avid paintball player that I am, I thought why not use small 20oz C02 tanks designed for paintball?
Most people that play either have a few laying around from when they first started playing or still use them. Why not use them for your favorite plant too?
Alas, the devil is in the details. I'm not sure how to set the tank up on a slow leak, and how much needs to be leaked to be effective. I was thinking about using a standard paintball ASA with an On/off. If I ran a macro line to an old regulator I have laying around, could it be used to control the about of C02 released? I'm not exactly an airsmith, so I'm not too sure about the internals of paintball reg.
Also, what about the extremely low temps of the gas? I can't count how many times I thought I had frostbite back in the day. lol

So are there any paintball playing stoners that can help me out here? This could be a total crackpot idea, and if it is, feel free to tell me. lol. Just throwing an idea out there.

makes sense, but you would need like a large 40-60 oz PB tank to help a SMALL room for a few days, but i have no idea how much either. i use the yeast&sugar , just got to get the mix down for the smell. and BTW your room should be smelling like nice fat juicy buds..lol

a LP regulator when set as low as it can go will constantly put out 75 -150 psi, and we both know this is still way too much. There are co2 regulators designed for this, but im not sure how theyd fit with paintball guns.

could be dangerous, but you could take the part you screw your co2 into, attach the fitting to a hose to go around your plants and screw the bottle in ever so slightly until you hear the smallest leak, but this could be bad as unusual circumstances might lead to having 800 psi of co2 going into your grow room.

People that use the yeast method usually cannot afford the tank setup for it is a big up front expense, I manged to get a bottle / regulator setup

You can double your plant size and yield using C02

If you can get those little tanks and figure out how to regulate them you will be ok

You want like 1500 ppm in the air for the maximum effect if you go over you start hurting your plants

And can buy a tube / syringe device to measure how much you are using if you cannot afford the electronics version

Its a great idea and should work. Hell, even a few controlled blasts throughout lights on period oughta do the trick, its definitely better than nothing, until you figure something out. I actually came across something on another forum the other day of someone trying to use whip-its, lol, which would work too.

I use CO2 tablets that you buy in aquarium supply stores. They are like alkasetzers. You put them in water and they release 350 CC of CO2. My plants love them but my temps go up by 5 degrees and my humidity shoots thru the roof.
