Help New Grower please

Hello,

I have just recently started growing Marijuana in a home closet space that is about 4ft wide and 8ft in length. I germinated a number of different seeds because i have alot of them, in hopes i would do everything right the first time after everything ive watched and read on marijuana cultivation but it seems i have done everything wrong...

(I am skipping alot of details because i already posted a thread and it was really long and painful and i didnt get that much feedback.)
So i will give you a quick run down of my set up, the problems that occurred, and where i am at now so hopefully you guys can help me out.

Set up
-400 watt MH bulb about 2 feet above plants
- 4 Bulb Florescent Light Above Small plants
- One 84 Liter Tote with six slots in it
- A slew of 5 gallon buckets made for only holding one plant
- 15 Liter totes made for holding the seedlings
- Every set up is filled with Regular Tap water because i do not have access to RO water.
- Everything i am using is of DWC nature
- There is at least one air stone present in every set up

Okay Now that you know what i have going on with my set up, i will try to list off the problems i have been having providing small to medium details depending on how much i have to say about the situation, Please bare with me because i am fairly sick right now and very light headed as i am typing this...

Before i list my problems here is some info on my tap water
It comes from the tap at 210 PPM andabout 7.4-7.5 PH

Problems

-P.H.- For the first 2 weeks of growing i was not able to take a correct PH because of the screwy Ph meter i purchased. It would jump around
and i felt it would never give me an accurate reading. Since then i have asked a friend to borrow his more expensive PH meter and it seems to be working fine... So for the first two weeks i was never able to truly check the PH and adjust it.
Recently since i have been setting the plants up I have made sure that what ever i was putting them in was cleaned. and after nutes were added i would adjust the ph to 5.5-6.5

Nutes- I believe this is one of the things i have had a problem with, Because i have such a big Rez with the 84 Liter tote i felt i had to add alot of nutrients into it. Which im not sure if i was correct or not. Also i have Other plants in 5 gallon buckets and i followed the directions on the containers Of sensi Grow A and B to add my nutirents into all of them.

Every plant that i had in the 84L tote Has problems which the plant total number was six,
All plants have root rot,
1 plant wilted really bad when i was changing the rez so i through it away and kept 5.
the five i have now 2 are not looking to good,
the bottom leaves are yellowing, spotting, and just crumpling up and falling away.
One is still really small which is younger then thee other 4 and is showing no real signs of any stress at all
and thee other 2 were doing really good, they were both really green. But they havent showed signs of growth in about a week and a half. they are stagnant.
SO i took the two that seemed to be doing good and put them into their own five gallon buckets... There is root rot evident really bad on one of them so i went to the store today and got some hydrogen peroxide. I added 4mls to each of the buckets with the water and no nutes because i figured they needed a flush and a fresh start... I put them in the buckets yesterday, since then the one with the really bad root rot has turned real yellow is is wilting, thee other plant that is doing good has root rot all thee same but seems to be sprouting new roots and is still very green up top.

I will just ask questions from now

Being that My water comes out 210 PPM, How much nutirents should i add into my water for plants in veg ? what should the end total be for the PPM ?

The Root rot? worth treating or should i just get rid of the plant ? And if so how should i treat the root rot with H2o2 ?

Any tips on the pervention of root rot would be great ? because it seems that even the plants in the 5 gallon buckets are starting to get a touch of it.

The first time i added nutes to the big 84 Liter rez i added about 242Mls Of both sensi grow A and B.. Was this to much ?

Please excuse my stupidity on this post, i am really sick, and i do not feel like going back through this and picking out things and retyping, all insults will fall on deaf ears, I would really just like answers to my questions and good advice. There is alot of other quarrels i have had in my little growing journey so far but i left alot of the details out so any one who replies expect more questions from me lol... these are just thee initial questions i need help with.

Do you have holes in the totes and buckets for excess water to drain out? I am sure you do but since you didn't mention it... If you don't, that would be your root rot cause I would think. On nutes, you are saying "alot" but who knows what means, what nutes, etc. How big and old are plants? Pics?

No i do not have holes in the totes and buckets for excess water to drain out... Please tell me how i can do this ? and thee reason please
And for the nutes I was using sensi grow A and B and alot meaning about 242 Mls... the PPM was 1400 when i checked it (yikes) but that was a week after actually adding the nutes in because i didnt have a ppm meter.. But see thats the thing.. when i got my ppm meter i added two new pants into two different buckets.. One i added nutes up until 1200 PPM and the other i left around 600... this was about 3 weeks ago... the one that was at 1200 PPM is now about 7-8 inchs tall and the one that was at 600 hasent moved at all...

Also i have bought this stuff called "verde" its a 16-2-1 i believe soloution i am just starting to use that but im not exactly sure how... the 16 i understand is alot... but the 2-1 isnt that to little ? should i use that in conjunction with something else or is that enough to make a plant grow ?

And to finish up some plants (most) are about a month old now... And now more then 6-8 inches (another yikes) as i know this is prob not very good at all... i can deff get picks... in which i will with in the next hour or so.

Each Plant goes with each root after and the last picture are the two plants i just left in the big tote system becuase they looked really bad... i ripped off the real bad leafs and basically just left them alone...the first picture is is a plant that was in the big tote system along with the second plant, but i moved them into buckets,as you can see they both have root rot. but the second one looks like its sprouting whiter new roots... while the first plant is just dying it looks like. they are both in clean water right now no nutes... i just put 3 mls of h2o2 in each bucket... but i dont think thats enough....the third plant is by far my best plant.. there seems to be nothing wrong with it or the roots, and its about half the age of the other two.

good news, those roots are too bad at all. i was expecting mud butt lol. try to bubble your tap water in a bucket and test it every day to see if it drops, it should unless your water is really jacked. second, the tote situation is why a bunch of plants in one pot is a bad idea. no way to isolate your problems. as for the root rot, you'll have to get more air to them, which is the bread and butter of DWC. bigger or more stones in the buckets, or a bigger mutiport air pump. i would get something like hygrozyme, works awesome on your roots. if not, instead of h2o2, use 3% hydrogen peroxide mixed 3 to 1 and run that for a few hours or a day. i would follow Advanced directions as far as strength, but you likely need a cal/mag product. oh is that sensi line the PH perfect line?

Yea i fugured that thats why i scrapped the big tote all together.. Im going to see if i can go to the store today to get some hygrozyme because ive heard so many good things about it. And Yes it is a PH perfect line... I just wasent sure how to use it i guess. I guess im just going to have to take another trip to the hydro store and buy more stuff... any cal/mag product your recommend ?

the PH perfect line is awesome for new or busy growers imo. however you dont need all the Advanced bullshit they wanna sell you. if i were you, id buy the cal/mag that goes with your nutes. what i use might not work for you or the next person reading this. i liked advanced Nirvana too, yucca is the best! it should help any grow really. ive worked in greenhouses for years and hygrozyme has been thru all of them. orchid champion is good too, as is sensi-zyme, so id go buy price and availability

I really appreciate your advice,

Idk what i am doing wrong. i think im going to downsize my grow. Im going to throw the older more stagnant ones away and keep the newer fresh ones with out problems thus creating more space for my new seeds. and with the hygrozyme, a newer more powerful light, new nutes, and more clean air enriched and monitered environments i hope i am successfull this time. I dont think that my 400 watt MH light is doing the trick in the space i have even tho i have them two feet above the plants. Im going to the store today to get a 1000 watt ballast and bulb. and im going to keep both of them running. 1 400 watt and 1 1000 watt. hopefully that works.

if i were you id use that 400w for a time or two, unless you have the extra cash and are set on a 1k setup. are you air cooling that 400? if so you can bring in down a lot closer. if you do want a new ballast, check out Lumatek's new air cooled ones, there super cheap and you can run a 4, 6 or 1000w bulb. skip the dimmable imo, thats just a marketing tactic, when you turn a normal bulb down, your messing with how it burns, changing the color rendering and shortening the bulb life. i would also scrap the tote idea for the reason of root issues, if one goes bad its hard to contain or remove. look into maybe a 4 or six site dwc setup, or even just one 5 gallon with a air pump and stone with your 400w, in a smaller room, maybe 4x4 max. get the small simple grow down, and use that to expand bigger after. if you want to run both lights tho, write down the wattage and amps used for everything thats running. most likely unless youve rewired or ran a subpanel, you'll be limited to 15 amps per fuse. also the start up of the ballast use slightly more amps to start up, so factor that in too. hope that helps some, but try to master the small problems then get bigger. the bigger grows have bigger problems too and nobody wants to waste money and get a bad or no return.
